Invasion 1940 - the Battle for Churchill's Manor

A World War Two themed paintball scenario game set in the heart of 'Battle of Britain country' close to Chartwell - Winston Churchill's historic home on the Kent/Surrey Border between the M25 and A25

  • Players representing British and German troops will fight it out in a series of 1 hour long 'dynamic scenarios' to determine what might have happened if the Germans had landed in the dramatic summer of 1940.

  • Points will be scored for occupying key strategic objectives as well as capturing key artifacts, assassinating or capturing enemy leaders.

  • The entire game area will be in play for each scenario - there will be no field boundaries that restrict a player's movement or a commander's imagination.

2 teams of 50 players: One Team British [Blue] One Team German [Red]

Each team will be subdivided into two platoons.

Britain stands alone against the might of Germany.

Having secretly dropped a force of Brandenburg Kommandos and paratroopers with a radar jamming device in southern England, the Luftwaffe have won local air supremacy during the Battle of Britain. Follow up German forces led by General von Klinkerhoffen have landed in Hastings. Driving up the London road they have made rapid progress only for their Panzers to be checked at the GHQ defence line outside the village of Westerham by a force of British Regulars and Home Guard volunteers. Re-grouping, the Germans have discovered that Winston Churchill is held up in the village of Westerham by the surprise German onslaught  having popped down from his nearby estate at Chartwell to pick up some cigars. The Germans have opportunity to win the war at a stroke; the British must use all of their dogged determination to hold the invader and then drive them into the sea.
